There are two streams of membership in the Medical Mission Sisters: Canonical and Associate.
As members of a Roman Catholic Religious Congregation, our Canonical members profess public vows of poverty, chastity and obedience for life.
Associates are women and men who are drawn to the vision, values and the Medical Mission Sisters' distinct spiritual energy of healing, and make a commitment to live these within the context of their own lives and responsibilities.
There are 500 Medical Mission Sisters and 100 Associates living as a healing presence in 17 nations today.
